The North Carolina Symphony approached us with an opportunity to help them launch a New Era – -they hired a new Conductor to take over and lead the symphony in a new direction. Carlos Miguel Prieto became Music Director of the North Carolina Symphony on July 1, 2023, at the beginning of the 2023/24 season. They wanted to redo many of the outdoor advertisements to advertise this change.
We reviewed their current offerings and worked with the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts and received permission to wrap the outside windows at the Meymandi Concert Hall to help celebrate this announcement.
In working with the Symphony we had multiple rounds of revisions to make sure the artwork told the correct story and presented a good image for the first several concerts and daily viewing. We worked on both the graphics for the box truck and the windows to tell the same story. A week before the arrival of the new conductor we started the installation process and finished several days prior to his arrival for them to help set up the space.
